Is the B450-F motherboard compatible with Ryzen 5 3400g with no GPU?

I recently bought a B450-F gaming ii for my pc build but then I realised after purchase it isnt compatible with my CPU. It was stated on the box but it said it was compatible on the Internet. Spoke to a technician and they said to go with the box and to return it. I've checked to compatibility on the B450-F and everything should be fine but I'm just going to be sure if it's compatible or not. Not taking the risk again

If it has been updated with new enough BIOS it is compatible. If you are buying it off shelf (in a physical store) you should ask the staff if it has new enough BIOS.

 

You need BIOS 2605 or later to run that CPU.

Is. With the BIOS version I specified (or later).
