Gnome is laggy after a while

I had to reinstall my OS. I went with the gnome flavour of manjaro.

After boot, it is perfect. However, after a day the UI becomes extremely laggy. I have to restart it (however it is also a fileserver and vpn server so downtime is not good).

Any suggestions?

Can you take screenshots of htop (sorting by mem res) after a fresh reboot and after some uptime/when your system starts lagging?
