I have tried a few times to mount my power strip to my desk. Ive used Velcro on both occasions. It works for a few months maybe and then the adhesives gives way. My room stays pretty warm, so Im not sure if that's the issue. Interesting enough the two power bricks I have mounted for my monitors seem to be fine.

The surface Im trying to mount it too looks to be .75" thick. Not sure if a screw would work, but I really dont want to drill in to the desk if I dont have to.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I've also used zip ties to attach them to legs and metal supports. It's worked pretty well, at least on my desk.

That wont work. I have the Freddie desk from Ikea. Im trying to mount it on the back wooden part under the desk. Really what Im trying to do is keep the cables and power strip off the floor. due to the fact I have an ottoman under the desk because why not and I have hard wood so it makes it easier to sweep.

3M Foam Mounting tape proved pretty well to stick a 12 outlet Belkin strip to the underside of my retro PC desk.  It's been hanging upside down there for a year with 12 cables plugged into it.  I basically just put two long strips along the back side, crawled under on my back and pressed it up there.

Thanks Im going to give it a try.

Wait, I lied, thinking now it was three long strips down the backside.  But yeah, basically don't be stingy and the stuff holds well.  It's even got a couple of wall arts plugged into it, smaller ones, more cause I think gravity would cause a heavy wart to just fall to the floor even if the power strip remained in place.
