Just got an email from iFixit, apparently Apple has bought them out. At least they won't have to change their name...

 

"Apple is working hard to make devices last long enough to be upgraded or irrelevant, making repairability an antiquated notion. iFixit will become a key player in the future of Apple device development, starting with the new iFixit Replaceability Index."

 

Obviously a joke, but still funny.

hahaha april fools ofc

 

apple got tired from ifixit rating their laptops at 1/10 and get angry at them for saying that they use lots of glue
