LTT Water Bottle

Got a quick question for you guys.  I have the 40 oz bottle and LOVE it.  I do not love the wide mouth on it though.

I have seen old threads stating that you can get different tops for them, but I was wondering if I tried to remove the current top, if I can get it back on.

Basically, can the rubber ring connected to the top be taken off and put back on the bottle?
