I'm curious as to how it works..  If your not sure what I'm talking about, its the thing displayed above your profile pic to the left of your posts..

I originally assumed it was to do with post count or likes but it doesn't appear to be either of these from what I can see..

 

Does anybody know how it works? I want to know why senior member 'X' deserves more respect and why Junior member 'Y' is 'ranked' so low?

 

 

Thanks in advance to anyone who has figured it out.. I'v looked around in the forum info and can't find anything.

interesting.. so it seems it must be more weighted towards how you are ranked by staff? because you are a junior member with 304 posts and this guy is an advanced member with 93 posts:

The bottom user title is based on post count. I can't remember what ranks relate to which post count but it is related to post count. The top one I know is editable after a certain post count.

vB has altered his this all works because it's annoying like that.
