Hello guys, my temperature limit in msi ab is grayed and i cant adjust it. I just wanted to ask you guys if you know how to fix this because everytime my gpu utilization get higher, my temp will go higher too like my gpu utilization is 100% and my temp is getting 80% - 90%. I have gtx 680 4gb gpu trifan and ryzen 5 1500x processor. Thanks guys all comments much appreciated.

It's locked for a reason. Usually it's 90C, and you definitely shouldn't be pushing the card past that. If you're having problems with temps, you may need a case with better airflow, or just a better fan configuration.

What does 80-90% equate to in Celsius? % isn't a good way to monitor temperatures. They could be 80% of a fridge, or 90% of an oven set to self clean.

This is because utilization is how hard the GPU is working. Just like when you work hard, you get hot and sweat, when the GPU works hard it gets hot.

Unless you have a case with poor airflow, case fans going to slow or a fan curve on the GPU that isn't keeping up, about the only thing you can do is repaste. There is a good chance that just changing thermal paste will help. That card could be as much as 9 years old now.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Yes i mean 85°C to 90°C and my temp still going when my gpu is 100% like 95°C. So i want to unlock my temp limit to 80°C but i can't access it in msi afterburner. What should i do?

Yes i mean 80 to 90°C  i already change my thermal paste. And i want to access the temp limit in msi afterburner to lock my temp when my gpu reach the limit like 80 and i dont know what fan curve should i use
