Hello all,

I am facing an issue while playing Battlefield 2,which is an old game (2005).

I face low GPU usage and low GPU clocks.

My CPU is Celeron G1820@2.70 GHz and my GPU is Radeon RX 550.
I guarantee that the issue is not a CPU bottle neck, because I run ArmA 3 and other newer games without that issue, the GPU maxes out when I play them.

Please tell me how do I fix this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Perhaps the game is just not graphically intensive enough to put a heavy load on your GPU?

In currently playing through a run of Mass Effect 2 (2010), and my 1650 super usually hovers between 15-30% load.

Maybe.

The clocks fluctuate and reach the max clocks, but just for shortly, and when the clocks decrease the game stutters and there are FPS drops.

Oh yeah, that's an issue.

My gameplay is butter smooth even with the low GPU load.

It's odd for the issue to only affect that one game. Have you applied the latest game updates, in case of bugs?

Yes yes,I have the latest version of the game, and I have the latest AMD Radeon drivers.

When I played the game with a much slower GPU it reached the max clocks.

Yes, that makes perfect sense, as a slower GPU has to work harder to render everything, so it should naturally have a higher GPU load.

Perhaps you can try reinstalling the game.
