Unidentified Network | No Internet

So i can connect my internet using the ethernet cable to my laptop and tv, but when i tried it on my pc, it says Unidentified Network No Internet, I tried connecting to the wifi using a usb wireless adapter and it works just fine but my wifi is just too slow, anyone got a solution to this?

Restart your PC and reconnect the cable on both ends (This is just a troubleshooting step)

Give your computer a few minutes to connect/identify the network after the step up above.

If that doesn't work you can try a diff ethernet cable (If you have one)

Everything gets more complicated from there (Try everything else first)

slow down and break it down more. 

TV connected to router via ethernet works

Laptop connected to router via ethernet works
PC connected to router via ethernet DOESNT work

PC on wifi works? 

 

check that your PC ethernet port IP settings are set to DHCP?

 

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Does your router recognise your computer?
Does your router use DHCP for LAN?
Is your PC in DHCP mode?

If not, you can start it "manually" by entering the IP address and default gateway in your PC settings. You should find these information in your router settings. If you don't know how, just ask me again.

yea i already tried a diff cable, same result

yes it is set to dhcp, tried 2 cables, both works fine on laptop and tv, except for pc
