My first ever PC Pro Build.

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, VALORANT, CS:GO and basic normal games.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have picked some parts from PCPARTPICKER. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/y6NVz7 - I'm also gonna stream with this pc as well.

 

Just so you guys know, I'm upgrading from a: Ryzen 5 2400G CPU, AMD RX 580 GPU, 200 watt PSU, 8gbs ram. And 1TB HDD << All the main things.

 

I was able to get my price pretty close to 1500, got it to 1450 or 1470 / 14075. Please let me know if I should upgrade anything, peripheral wise, I don't really need them as I have pretty decent stuff for those. Thank you!

Ambitious is an understatement if you want a 3080 in your system... you'd be lucky to find the GPU alone for less than $1500 right now, but I digress.

 

Liquid cooling a 3600 is a fair bit overkill, and especially won't benefit you financially if you actually plan to get a 3080; The stock cooler does just fine. That memory is on the slow side for Ryzen; A kit of 3600MHz CL16 should cost ~$110 with RGB. A swap to an NVMe SSD would also be worth it in my opinion, as you'd quintuple your speeds without paying much extra. You could also get a 2TB hard drive for like $15 more. Barring you ditch the AIO, these premiums should total out at around the same cost that you have currently (minus the GPU), and will improve the performance and longevity of the system. Godspeed getting your hands on a 3080 though.

I've never seen anyone pair an RTX 3080 with an R5 3600 before 

 

To be quite frank with you, it even bottlenecked my 1080 Ti, so I upgraded from that right when Ryzen 5000 Launched.

 

The 5600X is only $90 more, but it's worth every penny.

 

EDIT: I just noticed. Why did you put a MicroATX motherboard in a full-sized ATX Mid-Tower case?

With the help of ya'lls help! I was surprised to see the price the same with this better stuff.

 

Would yall think this is more better? I did switch out the case to a NZXT, as I like their cases better. I also went with the stock cooler, as someone said it will be fine. And liquid cooling is just of a hassle, was going for aesthetics, but at the end of the day. Its more than likely gonna be on my floor than my desk.

nzxt cases like the h510 have bad airflow. i would get something like the Corsair 4000d or the cooler master td500 mesh (what i use in my build).

4000d has no mesh panel, but the 4000d airflow edition does. mesh panels typically improve airflow. (correct me if i am wrong anyone)

One has a mesh front panel, the other has a solid tempered glass front panel. The Airflow model is better.

It's still not worth the risk imo. There have been many reports of 3080s having problems with 650W PSUS. Considering that a good 850W (the d.f revolution) is only $14 more, its worth it imo.

Where? I have yet to see those 

I've seen a few, but not many. Usually by Power Supplies overloading their poorly designed power rail configuration though.

Corsair for one, doesn't have this issue.

I'd go for a 650W Corsair before an 850W Enermax any day of the week. But in the end it's the OP's choice, he seemed pretty happy with his specs. He doesn't need to change them.
