Then, when GPU prices are back, this system can handle basically any. For now use your existing gpu

Get an i5-11400F instead if you have a GPU, if you don't go with the 11400 and wait for prices to go down or check if there are 5500XT's in stock (performs simular to 1660S, but often close to MSRP, but also out of stock often)

The 1660S is significantly faster than the 5500XT. The 5500XT wasn't a great card, and competed with the RX 580

With new drivers they're pretty much the same. 1660S is slightly faster in some games and 5500XT in others, but really it isn't worth almost double the price. Maybe the 5500 XT is better for COD and Apex Legends since they use quite a bit of VRAM (make sure to get the 8gb for these games, 4gb should be playable too). If you can find a 5600XT it should be faster than both, this is priced close to a 1660S.

10400 has an iGPU and is 1 gen older. It also doesn't support RAM faster than 2666mhz (it will work but just downclocked). The 11400F has no iGPU but does support faster RAM and is faster. If you want an iGPU you should use the 11400. Also don't expect much difference between 10400 and 11400 since you will be GPU bottlenecked, but this would be a more future proof choice.
