New pc, parts are picked, just a final overlook by y'all before I buy

Budget (including currency): 1,500 without gpu

Country: usa

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: new AAA games with occasional 3d rendering

Other details: I plan on buying the parts today, I have tried to do extensive research on all the parts I have chosen but still am doing this as a precaution before I pull the trigger.

CPU: R7 5800x (I plan to attempt to overclock in the future, although weary I am, I know I might possibly need a better cooler, I just would like to know that I am able to overclock if I would like)

MOBO: ASUS B550-F GAMING WIFI 6

SSD: 980 PRO 1TB

CASE: 4000X RGB (I am aware the front io of the case is not compatible with the Mobo as it does not have USB c or USB 3.2 front io support)

PSU: RMX 750 WATT

GPU: 1660 6GB (I plan on getting a 3080, or 3080 ti when it comes out but as of now I don't believe I can even get one.)

RAM: 2x8gb crucial ballistix 3600mhz CL16

CPU COOLER: Cooler master hyper 212

Does this build sound good, and do all the parts seem good for eachother? I am also asking, because I haven't done much research or looked into the market at all, if 3080's or the 3080ti will be available for the common fellow soon? I know it's hard to tell. Just wondering if Nvidia is working on a fix or something or there is an update on the production and availability. Again the question might sound stupid but I would just like to know what the market looks like right now.

Dude it's full of flaws!!!
Get a better cooler, at least a nhu12s or nhd15
Get a better psu if you go for a 3080 or ++
That mobo is a waste of money if you wanna oc, get a X570

This advice is full of flaws.

I agree on the cooler part.

The PSU is fine.

The motherboard, provided it is the Strix variant I believe it is, is much better quality than many many X570 boards and is a great choice.

Yes it is the ROG STRIX, sorry I didn't mention that, and also, what cooler would you recommend?

You don’t need a better CPU cooler, and if you really want a better cooler, get a Scythe Fuma 2.
A good 750W unit should be more than enough for a 3080.

X570 doesn’t provide any advantages overclocking wise over a good B550 board.

geometry is hard
b550 > x570

A little on the expensive side of B550, MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS would be good enough. You don't wanna blow too much money on AM4 in 2021, it's a dead socket as of next year.

There's no fix to it. It's a global chip shortage, and it's not NVIDIA's fault. Demand is also at an all-time high, so that isn't helping. As far as we know, availability could continue to be an issue well into 2022 or even 2023.

Nothing unless you're speaking of using entry-level or mid-tier air coolers and wanting good performance in overclocking.

I have my 5600X running 4.7Ghz @ 1.325V with a 280mm AIO, and I still hit 83°C under load. Using lesser coolers on a more core-heavy part is not a good idea.

Sadly, at the moment nothing is really available. The chip shortage has even sucked the used market dry and skyrocketed prices.

Not only is last-gen hardware not at MSRP, but it's selling for well above it right now (*if you can even find it available).

I sold my 4 year old 1080 Ti for like $770 USD recently. I only paid $500 for it originally.

If you can, just deal with what you have and wait it out.

My H100i Platinum died when I drove my 9600K to 5.1ghz. Replacement H150i sealed it at 91C.
My friend's Nhd15 kept it at 79-81C. Now waiting for a nhd15 chromax to show up on my door.

My H100i Platinum died when I drove my 9600K to 5.1ghz. Replacement H150i sealed it at 91C.
My friend's Nhd15 kept it at 79-81C. Now waiting for a nhd15 chromax to show up on my door.
Lost around 40usd, but was worth it.

Congrats, you had a poor experience with watercooling! 🥳

Now we see where the bias is coming from.

Not at all. I prefer NZXT Kraken Series for anyone who doesn't want an air cooler.
I'm running dry on money, otherwise I'd be getting a Kraken x63.

Why? Why would anyone buy from NZXT? 🤦‍♂️

Their cases either catch fire or kill components by trapping them with heat, their AIO's have loud fans and/or OLED burn-in, and their motherboards are mediocre at best.
