Need Gaming Desk Help

I want to get an L-shaped gaming desk but the ones I see aren't what I'm looking for. I want to get a gaming desk that on the sides goes down all the way or almost all the way to the floor, but all the ones I see have nothing on the sides. I'm only going to have one side against a wall and when someone goes into my room I don't want my full computer to be in view. If anyone knows of any or knows how to search for one I would appreciate it!

Not exactly sure what you mean by sides going down all the way to the floor.

If you don't find the desk you like from places like Ikea, Amazon or other places... you can always go to Homedepot and build your own.  I did just that.  I wanted my son and I to be side by side when we're gaming.  I couldn't find a desk wide and deep enough.  I wanted it to be also in one piece.  I wanted a carpet surface to not scratch anything when I fix things on the table.  I bought the widest Ikea table and I put a big piece of plywood, about 3' deep and 8' wide.  I'm extremely happy.

All I used were cordless drill/screw driver, jig saw, box cutter and a hammer (for the tacks to hold the carpet in place).  Desk was $90 and materials were another $40.

Can you provide a picture example of what you mean?

Sorry it is hard for me to explain, I want it walled in on the back like this example here: https://www.madisonliquidators.com/item/l-shaped-desk-with-drawers/4369/?cpm=9m5vqu23hzcb428fg3ds&gclid=CjwKCAjwqIiFBhAHEiwANg9szom0mjWBEXmgsNhIQIjBK8dJne0BOyE6VQNoBvCIHVoBlBZ9yQiiPRoCzX8QAvD_BwE

If you can't find one walled then you can always "wall" it yourself.

Plywood is relatively cheap.  If you don't have tools a jigsaw would only set you back like $30.  Hammer, nails or glue shouldn't be more than $20.

Okay, that clears it up for me.

I've always found the best deals through my local second hand site. (Kijiji, Craigslist, etc)

You can typically save 50% of the cost from new, and sometimes more.

If used is out of the question for you, what is your budget for a new desk?

PSU Tier List   AMD Motherboard Tier List   SSD Tier List

If your issue is resolved, please share the fix with the community.

That is an option I could do, I do have everything needed for that but I don't know if plywood is right for me

Budget of most likely just $200 more or less, something pretty affordable
