What the hell is this and should i replace it! Asus n552vx

Pooyet

Hi

Today i open my asus laptop for the first time to change the thermal paste, and i see this foily aluminum sticks to my GPU ram modules. In the disassemble videos on YouTube there's no such thing and just a bigger heatsink all over there.

I have some questions about it!

First: what is the name of it?

Second: should i replace it?

Third: i bend it so i could open the heatsink screw and then put it back on the gpu ram module. Should i be worried about performance of it?

I will be preciate it to answer my questions.
