Hello!

So due to some unfortunate circumstances my old GTX 980ti is kaput, a friend of mine has borrowed me his 'upgraded' RX480 (I'll put a picture up) in the meantime until I can get a replacement GPU, however upon starting up any game with this thing it gives me this odd pulsing frame drop issue I can't seem to find anything on online, you can see how it is in the capture I've attached.

I would super duper appreciate some advice here because this makes anything I want to play unberable which is doubly frustrating than not having a GPU at all because at least then you can resign yourself.

Well he didn't tell me he had overclocked it, I think he meant his new zip tie cooling solution that I posted the image of but I might just mess around with the clock speeds and power settings to see if anything maybe changes, good idea

I had this problem when I got a used RX480 to replace my old dead one. This was happening due to the clocks constantly being pushed down due to high temps. The fix in my case it was replacing the whatever thermal paste was applied with an Arctic MX4.
