Extending s20 fe Long term battery life. Tech required.

Bupalooga

So I've just bought a Galaxy s20 5G FE.

Mainly because my S8's battery life had tanked again.

I've learnt all the theory of charging for battery longevity (20-80%, reduce heat ect.) But what I need help with is the practical solutions. Show me the Tech!

Is there a way to

-physically slow charging speed,

-delay charging time,

-and limit an s20 FE's max charge to 80% overnight?

software app option?? hardware option???  I've heard of these being features on other devices.

Manually charging up in the morning is not an option for me as I'm pretty much straight out the door and on my feet for 12hrs.

From what I've read, you have to root the phone and either manually modify files, or use an app to make the modifications for you.

Thanks friends.

Was hoping to avoid rooting but I'll have to look into it.

i dont think samsung has an option to how much you can charge your battery overnight. (at list not on the s20fe) but you can buy a cheap 5w charger that only does 1amp
