pc getting hotter

can anyone help me? the temp of my pc has been going up for no reason its not dusty and the fans run fine does anyone know why this is happening? its not the summer either since its still cold weather 
gpu and cpu are gtx 1660 super ventus xs oc
amd ryzen 5 2600x

How is the CPU/GPU/System in general, cooled?

idle its  30c-40c 
70c-80c when under heavy load

Sorry, what I mean is how is the system cooled, air, water, AIO?

If it's just the CPU going up. I would check your fan curves. And if ramping them up doesn't help. I would look into reseating your heatsink. If it's not properly mounted it can make things stay hotter. 

Also check your overclock if you have one. And some mobos overclock by default. it's possible that could cause it to ramp up.

If you remove the side panel from your case, does the system run cooler? Could be an indication of airflow issues

80c is still *technically* fine. What part is running hot, cpu, gpu or both? It'll narrow down the troubleshooting steps a little.

Also curious to know how the machine has been assembled (thermal paste degrades over time, but your hardware is still relatively new).

That seems about right for the stock CPU cooler depending on airflow. However you can make it get hotter when rendering videos. The stock cooler is not bad, but it's not great either and in a system that may not have great airflow, things can get a little toasty. Anyway, I don't know how your airflow is, but I got a good improvement by upgrading the cooler.
