amaran 100x good?

Hi. I have a canon m50, I want to get a light. I thought that the amaran 100x from aputure would be a good light to go with my camera for video. But is it?

Yes amaran 100x is a good light
I assume based on the fact you went 100x over 100D you want the adjustable color temperature

I did. at 5600k is there any difference in brightness.

I believe its slightly dimmer

Edit: True I can change color temperature in post or in camera.

not really its like 1/3 or 1/2 a shot
for photos yes, video not so much.
the big benefit to an adjustable color temp is dealing with the chaining color temps or matching other lights
