PC not showing BIOS

IndoCryptix

I had just built my pc outside of the case to test it, I turned it on but and mashed the living hell out of the delete key but nothing shows up on my monitor?? And neither is the logo screen appearing. Is this a GPU Problem?

PC specs:

Motherboard: Gigabyte  B450M S2H

CPU: Ryzen 5 3500x

GPU: Gainward Phantom GTX 760 (second hand)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 3200Mhx 2x8

Storage: Intel 665p 1TB m.2

PSU: Corsair CX750

What power pins are connected:

ATX, CPU_FAN (From and stealth cooler), PCIe 6pin X2,

Connected to my monitor with HDMI

Seems like your HDMI cable is connected to the motherboard. The Ryzen 5 3500X doesn't have an integrated GPU so the video connectors on your motherboard won't work. You have to use the video outputs of your GPU. This is not a defect.

So I plugged in the hdmi into the GPU, I started up the system and mashed the delete key, nothing happened. But, I found out that when my system is on the screen is black and when it's off it says "No signal". What's up now?

Is there a drive with an OS installed in the system?

No this is a fresh new system. All parts out of the box. Except the GPU which was second hand

Just PCIe in both of them.

Maybe try a different display cable / connector on your GPU / monitor.

The GPU only has hdmi, display port and DVI. My monitor only has HDMI and VGA. I tried plugging on th VGA into the motherboard (I was aware that that won't work but did anyways)

Nothing new, same thing happened.

Any other solutions?

If your mobo is a rev 1.0, it is highly possible that you need to update the bios for 3500x support.  You'll need another cpu supported by whatever bios is installed, bios version F1 is the first.  What does the box say?

How do I update the bios? I gotta use that disk in the box right?

Most likely need an older Gen cpu to get into bios first and then update. 😞

I researched it. Unfortunately that is the case. Anyways, I'll get the pc to a professional and he should do that for me. I'll update you all on the situation on Tuesday.
