Time to finally upgrade!

Budget (including currency): under AUD$5000

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Black Desert Online (and other games through Steam), The Sims 4, Minecraft, Genshin Impact, Streamlabs, League of Legends, Elgato Game Capture, Discord

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My current build is 6 years old.

I would really like an all lilac set-up (including peripherals) but I only ever see pink, so I'm pretty happy with my pink asus rog strix headphones at least. I plan on buying close to the end of the year. The reason I want to upgrade is because I really like streaming on Twitch but the FPS I have been dealing with has been terrible! With lots of skipped frames I've stopped streaming cause it's just too frustrating. I've tried lowering every setting I can get my hands on with no luck. I really want to take my streaming to the next level with being able to have a game, streamlabs, music and discord all running at the same time with no lag.

Maybe you could get a glass case like tecware's VXR one and just fill it with RGB, then it will look any colour you want?

I'm an IT System Admin with 15+ years worth of XP, plus I've been tinkering computers since I was old enough to hold a screwdriver, so I usually know what I'm talking about.

CPU
    Intel Core i5 6400 @ 2.70GHz    49 °C
    Skylake 14nm Technology
RAM
    16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1066MHz (15-15-15-36)
Motherboard
    Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. H110M-H-CF (U3E1)    40 °C
Graphics
    S24E450 (1080x1920@60Hz)
    BenQ GL2460 (1920x1080@60Hz)
    4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (Gigabyte)    59 °C
Storage

The degrees is while its trying to run BDO and streamlabs, it's not too different from it's resting temp.

First of all, I think your build more like 4 - 5 years old. Just a stupid minor nitpick lol.

Anyway, your CPU needs an upgrade. There is a GPU shortage atm so you can’t really buy one unless it’s at a very high price.

What is your power supply and case?

Lastly, please quote me using the arrow so I see your response.

geometry is hard
b550 > x570
