Corsair SP2500 vs Logitech Z906

Hi all, I have had my Corsair SP2500s for over 2 years now and they're showing their age. They still sound superb, but the subwoofer covering is peeling and the speaker colour is fading.

Anyway, my question to all of you is this:

Should I keep my SP2500s for a while longer, or should I invest in some Logitech Z906s?

Both have a similar wattage but the Corsair speakers are 2.1 and the Logitechs are 5.1.

Which would be better for gaming?
What about music?

Thanks a lot,

Adam

Buy some studio monitors instead.

Funnily enough, that was another option xD I was considering the a set of the Behringer B1030As, which would actually be good because I'm also a DJ :') Thanks for the advice!

Since you DJ, studio monitors.

Maybe some cheaper bookshelves and a sub.

The problem with Logitech speakers is they don't have tweeters.

this is what I do and have done. i do also have the SP2500's for other purposes as well. I have a pair of Adam A5X's and a Adam Sub7.

@ust4ever1 for higher end stuff check out used stuff because as long as its been taken care of it just as good as new.
