GPU stated is a 5700xt sapphire pulse. I have just upgraded my mobo and CPU. I was gaming then my game froze but my second monitor was still fine. (Connected to iGPU) I restarted my computer and suddenly there's no more output from the GPU.

Here's what I have done so far in almost chronological order

1. I tried to start radeon, but nothing happens.

2. Checked device manager to see GPU has disappeared but shows when I show hidden devices. I uninstalled it. Restarted.

3. Now no longer shows anything, I did a DDU process and tried to install radeon, gave me error 173.

4. Physically checked GPU: Fans spinning, lights on. Connection is secured, power cables are in.

5. I tried to find any GPU settings in bios but I didn't see any

EDIT:

6. Tried on second rig, forgot to test the output 🤦‍♂️ but able to see the graphics card in device manager and able to install radeon.

7. Have yet to test power supply as I'll be changing my case in the next few days. Could it also be a motherboard issue?

Do you have a second slot to try the gpu in?

If not, try gpu in another machine or try another gpu in yours.

Sadly I bought one with only one slot but yes I jus managed to setup an old rig to test, I was very reluctant but I think I don't regret it.

I have made a breakthrough. It works fine on another rig, now I think I just need to test if it's a PSU issue or a mobo issue, am I right?
