nothing i booted up, went to check the temperatures and it rebooted. mind you this happened in the span of 2 3 minutes

Look in the Event Viewer and see if there is anything in the System Subsection that might point to what happened

No, no further damage will happen. If anything Safe Mode is more gentle on hardware than normal mode, but it will give us an insight potentially as to what's going on
