Help! boot issues

Big tech problem my friends pc boots

works for a while and then shuts down

and boots again what could be wrong with it?

it worked fine before

but started giving trouble this morning.

Help would be really appreciated.

What's the make, model, and wattage of the power supply?

Is the system sitting idle when it reboots, or is it under load?

What changed between when it worked, and when it broke?

I cant verify the wattage but its a xfx psu. \/ this one in particular.

nothing i booted up, went to check the temperatures and it rebooted. mind you this happened in the span of 2 3 minutes

Look in the Event Viewer and see if there is anything in the System Subsection that might point to what happened

let me try, but i wont burn my components while trying to do this right? the first reboot has had me shook already

No, no further damage will happen. If anything Safe Mode is more gentle on hardware than normal mode, but it will give us an insight potentially as to what's going on
