Reusing old display

I am trying to reuse this old display. Does anyone know if there is an display adapter for this thing? Or some way to control it with my pc? The number of the screen is: LMS430HF01-013

It's a LCD for tom tom gps, i can't find the info for the connector.

If it has normal connector (lvds) you can buy a universal lcd driver.

There are adapters on eBay, last time I checked, they weren't cheap however.

I'm not really sure if the display connector is lvds or lvds of some sort with non standard pinout,

Do you know where this display come from?

Try checking aliexpress for a lvds adapter that allows you to use a HDMI with it.

 

Don't get up your hopes, many of these displays are proprietary. meaning they have a highly specific layout, with almost no documentation,

 

i know this from trying to hack a old digital photo-frame.

Could not find any controllers for it

Hi, has anyone had any luck with this? Bit late to the party ik, currently struggling to find any adapters, but icl I have no clue what I'm looking for, nor where to look
