I would buy it buuut, 30hz is a deal breaker. Going to have to wait for 4k to become a bit more affordable before I drop cash into it.

30hz i guess would be fine for image editing ect.

the great thing about this is that 4k is exactly 4 times as many pixels as 1080p so it means the scaling is perfect (4 pixels make a square and that square can represent one pixel). You won't get some weird scaling crap as if you were for example running a 1440p monitor at 1080p.

not all TN panels are equal just like not all IPS panels are equal. There are some TN panels for example that I'd rather get than some horrible IPS panels that Asus uses for some of their monitors.

 

The one in that dell monitor is apparently very good from the reviews I've seen (good color accuracy and sRGB coverage, good viewing angles etc..)
