Eh, they seem decent enough. A full set (104/108 keys) of PBT keycaps + extras (alternative-sized modifier keycaps) for $43. Can't say much more without knowing which board you're trying to outfit -- I think the keycap set will acommodate most custom keebs*; pre-built/Logitech/Razer/Corsair/etc. keyboards will be a bit more finnicky, case-by-case basis (that bottom row, or those Romer-G/optical switches, yanno?).

 

Asterisk(*): Winkeyless keebs or keebs that use Tsangan (7U Spacebar) bottom row are out (i.e. incompatible with this keycap set).

 

If you care about backlighting and shine-through legends, do note that the legends for that keycap set are dye-sublimated. RGB and lighting will only illuminate the perimeter surrounding each keycap, and won't shine through them.

The are clearly not dye-subed so IDK why they would lie about that. They look like they may be painted/etched. I'd pass. 

 

Also they are Chery profile, so don't use them with north facing switches. (qwerty row contacts the switch housing)

By painted/etched do you mean the letters are painted on?

Or the opposite, the whole cap looks painted with the letter etched away. 

 

Unless they dye-subed the entire cap and left the legends in negative?  I've never even heard of anyone doing that before and is not something I'd expect on a cheep set.

Isn't that what is done on KAT? Not meaning that that's actually done on the linked keycap set

What set? "KAT" is a profile.

Interesting. I've not seen this before. 

 

Still seems like feature for expensive sets not likely to be found on a $40 Amazon kit.

With this keycap set, id recomend having a sold white backlight or no lighting.
