I want a 1080p 60fps graphics card that can play on ultra settings for games like Rocket League, SCP SL, Stranded Deep, Hello Neighbor, and Apex Legends.
I would probably would like a gtx 1650 or rtx 2060 but those aren't in stock unless you want to overpay a lot. I would be paying anywhere from $300-500 for one of those.

I was thinking about waiting for rtx 3060 since it would be the best bang for my buck since I'll already being overpaying for a graphics card.

Should I just wait for an RTX 3060 or overpay for a 1650 or 2060?

Honeslty these high prices seem to only be getting worse...I think personally its not really "overpaying" anymore, it's just their assumed new value.

The only luck you might have is a local microcenter. I happened to get SO lucky & find a guy who bought an MSI 3070 that morning from microcenter (a 1 hour drive from me) who sold it to me for MSRP ($840)

I see 2070s going for $850-$900 around here.

That depends on how long you're willing to wait.

The GPU shortage could be several more months, or possibly even last for the rest of the year.

Wow. Unfortunately there are no microcenters near me.

I honestly think this is semi-permanent. A market crash of crypto might lower the scalped value a little, but even MSRP is going up. I think we are going to see graphics cards just simply be more expensive.

Not to mention the tarrifs.

Yeah...I hate to say it but you may have to buy scalped. The LTT Verified Gamer program might help too when they do that again, but they don't have much stock at all. Honestly even a 1070 is great still for 1080p gamming. I think you'll find it can run your games at high-ultra settings at 1080p 60fps.
