Monitor issue?

My monitor is an AOC G259OVXQ

 

When loading a game the screen goes white (gif attached) and may return to normal when turned off and on but sometimes it just flickers

 

This monitor isn't that old and hasn't been left on for extended periods of time

 

I do not believe it is the GPU as I have my TV hooked up and it only happens to the monitor (dupe display)

Also, I have tried both DP outputs on my GPU, the issue remains, also done driver re-install, re-seated so on

 

Am I on the right track thinking the monitor is the issue?

I'm guessing my only option is to go through the manufacturer

That happened to one of my monitors, it got physical damage to the panel. Only solution is replacement, afaik.
