So firstly my PC wouldn't boot and had an windows error couldn't access boot device so i re installed windows it all went fine and now my pc when i try to install programs says the file /temp is unreadable so far i have done chkdsk /r and /f and they have comeback fine i did sfc /scannow and it said windows resource protection found corrupt files and succsessfully repaired them. Details are included in cbs.log.

when i goto cbs.log it says access denied.

@gibbsy81 the cbs.log. is a protected system file you can only open it with a elevated command prompt. (and even then it not that happy)

 

it easier though to copy it to your desktop and then open it there with notepad.

 

it sounds like you have fixed the problem, are you still having issues with the pc since the reinstall.

Yeah i have been having this issue since the reninstall i have tried the tool that Samsung uses seatools and that has come up fine and so has the western digital and windows disk checkers im convinced it is a hdd issue that isn't being picked up by the disk checkers.
