Webcam/ lighting help.

It's the webcam running Auto-Exposure. Does it have a manual exposure capability? If not, then you need to look into a different option, or a real camera to pipe in a feed.

I have a logitech streamcam as a webcam for my computer. I am trying to set it up to get the best quality I can out of it for work conferencing and maybe one day streaming. I believe I have my lights set the way I want but the camera is doing something that I need help figuring out. with my lights on the image seems really bright (colors are good) but if I put my hand up between me and the camera the brightness goes down (I want this image from it) can anyone tell me what may be causing the change in brightness on the camera from just my hand going up (hand is not blocking my face from the light source). Any insight or help is appreciated!

thank you! that helped... I was able to configure this to make the image better (not perfect). I just need to fine tune my lights and the camera settings.
