I bought a 2070 super, but it did not work from the start. When I installed the drivers it seemed to freeze and then blink my screen black and go back to normal. It happened frequently, and every time it did it, the GPU would reach 100% in task manager.

I have tried literally everything, I overclocked it, changed the fan speeds, ran DDU, payed 200 for a guy to look at it, tested another graphics card, put the 2070 super in my friends computer, take apart the card and clean it, bought a new PSU, bought a new SSD, and enabled XMP for RAM. I have tried literally everything besides a heat gun. Does anyone have any idea what is happening and/or how to fix it?

SPECS:

16GB Ram

i7-8700k

2070 super 8 GB (1050 Ti, since 2070 obviously doesn't work)

650M Corsair

Z-370 f-gaming

1 TB SSD

500 GB SSD

If the gpu doesn't work in an entirely different config then it's either dead or a fake one. either way i'd return it if you just bought it.

Agreed
