I haven't used a prebuilt since early 2000 but in these times it's about all there is.  I have a system that is a little over a year old, 3900x/32g/2080s and it basically does everything I want minus run cyberpunk2077 with raytracing at 3440x1440@100hz

So I'm in a weird place that my system is acceptable for everything I do, but my last PC was acceptable for everything I did minus a later discovered problem with anti-virus and anti-malware on the same system (was fine for years then crash city)

Now I'm trying to grind as much crypto as I can, either to sell and buy upgrades or save for retirement or somewhere in-between.

My solution was an Alienware on 12 month financing so I can remote desktop into it and let it mine eth or btc for a year and pay for its self, That or come up with the cash to pay for it and have a *free gaming PC in a year.

Right now I'm running my I7/1060 laptop for daily use and avoiding gaming on my main rig for fears of cutting into profitability.

Anyone else in the same situation?

Audio go Brrrrrr

Well forget mining if you get a prebuilt, those things run hot and usually are the most bare minimum spec when it comes to the parts.
