Is the R5 5600X's stock cooler enough, or should I spend the extra 319 pln (~$85) on a Noctua NH-U12S?

I want to ask for a second opinion, because some people told me that the 5600X's stock cooler will be good even for OCing, and when we went to a local store that sells PC parts, peripherals and pre-builts, the guy we talked to said "at that price point(~5k pln), a cooler is just a nice thing to have". No, I will not be getting a pre-built, but my mom's friend (who also works in that PC part/peripheral store) will build it for us instead.

the stock cooler is enough, though it will be a bit toasty. The cpu will be faster with a better cooler though, if you turn pbo on.

though for that much you could probably get a dark rock pro 4.

5600x is really power efficient so it will be fine with the stock cooler even when some OC. but it is little loud.

 

but that noctua cooler is not worth 85 usd.

nice. i would say both are pretty identical. get whatever is cheaper of those 2. those will be plenty.

you still can go with the hyper 212 if available the v2 version and its like 30$

hyper 212 is not worth 30 dollars. it is well little betetr than the stokc ocoler but not worth 330 dollars in my opinion atleast.

they made some good changes on the v2 and its still capable for R5 5600x although the arectic is still better
