Steam download slow..

Hi guys! 

 

 

I'm downloading GodMode of steam and i only get 400KB/s while on Speedtest.net i get

What the hell?

 

Normally i get at least 5 MB/s

maybe steam is getting some heavy load? Steam cant max out your speed

The only thing on Steam that is working for me at the moment is the downloads. Can't access the workshop, store. Only Library.

You do know that even steam can be under heavy load.

2. Why would i be trolling? ever heard of the 'L4D2' for free launch, guess what STEAM WAS UNDER LOAD AND SPEED WENT TO CRAP....

You can try changing your download location for the steam servers, even though I am based in england somtimes I download faster from US servers. Just somthing to try.
