Distorted sound via USB Sound Card | Soundblaster X G6

Raphty

I am using my Soundblaster X USB sound card for almost a year now, I got it, because I wanted to use my audio setup for my Macbook from work and my Gaming PC, but in the last couple of months I started getting horrible distortions after a boot on the windows machine. No changes on the mac side. I am using a USB 3.0 switch, so I don't unplug and re plug the sound card, it is hooked up to the same "switch" as the mouse, keyboard and microphone, all of those work great on both devices.

I usually have to do a reboot to fix the issue. Just unplugging doesn't work.

thanks for the help

Have you downloaded the latest software for it? It is called sound blaster command. It was recently changed and you should probably update drivers as well.

PM or DM me if you have any questions about audio.
