All information about wifi and internet signal repeater?

GamerGry123

would like to know more about wifi amplifiers and internet signal over cable.

I know that the wifi amplifier does so that if we have a wifi modem and a phone between them, the distance is 100m between them, there must be an amplifier for 50m between them and the amplifier receives this signal from the modem and sends it on. The amplifiers work in the same way as they amplify the signal via the cable, I mean the internet signal via the cable.
This is all I found on the internet.

Could you please provide detailed information about the amplifiers?

What is the difference between the more expensive wifi repeater and cable replacement from the cheaper one?

Can you run a cable between those location, Id stay away from wifi repeaters if you can as there not great.

50m is pretty far for traditional wifi too and really pushing distance limits, esp if there isn't line of sight.

Do you have a problem your trying to solve?

100m is. bit much for wifi, id run a caable or a pint to pint system.

Wifi repeaters normally suck. There not amplifers as they work as a client and make a new access point.

Well first of all, their not amplifiers, its a repeater.

Do you have specific question, normally asking a question on a forum isn't the best way to research.

What is this forum for if you don't ask a question?

We can point you in the right direction: Like when researching this topic, use “WiFi extender” or “WiFi range extender” instead of “WiFi amplifier. The latter is not a common terminology in real-life applications.

If you’re a visual learner, check out YouTube. There are lots of good explanations of how WiFi extenders work.
