Cloning boot drive worries

Hi, 

 

So I am running out of storage on my C: drive and will switch it for a larger one. I am planning to use a cloning tool "AOMEI personal" to clone the old drive to the new one. 

What I want to understand is, once I have cloned the drive and change my boot drive in the BIOS to the new one.

 

1. Are all the apps lauchable from my new boot drive? 

2. Are my environment PATHs updated to keep working?

3. Is there not any problems?

 

I'd love some clarifications because I am a bit worried about the process..

I've not used AOMEI personal before but if it works the same way Macrium Reflect free does it's cloning, it should be all good once you boot up. ie everything should be the same as before but on the new drive. (Macrium can also extend the partition so you take up the full size of the new drive)
