First build. Thought it wouldn't hurt to have someone else take a look.

This was all hypothetical until I started buying things. XD

I just want to make sure I didn't overlook something, maybe there is a better option for motherboard or ram, ect ect. If all you have for me is "it looks fine" then I be able to sleep a little better. Many thanks.
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Moving20/saved/TYgKXL

Budget (including currency): Aimed for Around $1500 but I gave myself wiggle room. (not including peripheral of course)

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Just gaming, KSP, Arma 3, Stellaris, Minecraft, Elite Dangerous, Valheim....

Other details:
I've already started buying some parts. Really I'm waiting to get a 3070, hopefully the $500 one from Best Buy.
I'm upgrading from https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GE72-6QD-Apache-Pro/Specification.
I already boughtAOC CQ27G2 27(1440p 144hz) monitor for work and I am planning on buying a second. May not be the exact same monitor but another 1440p 144hz at least.

Other than maybe going with a ROG B550 instead because honestly there isnt a huge difference, looks good. X570 will still do you fine if you decide not to change.

Big nerd.

Just a couple changes.

You can save some money by going with B550 since it doesn't seem you need the features of X570. I picked the B550 version of the board you chose, but you could even go cheaper and get the same performance.

I replaced the RAM with a 3600Mhz CL16 kit which will give you a bit more performance.

You probably could have saved a bit by picking a different brand SSD. Mushkin Pilot-E would perform the same for less, for instance. The 970 EVO is good though.

its good!, but no harddisk?

Probably not. I don't see a reason to. But I do have a 1TB HDD from my laptop that I switched out with a 1TB SSD. Either one of those could go in it for the extra storage if I end up needing it.

Maybe a little more wattage in the psu? The 3070 cen get power hungy especially if you plan on overclocking

Some  cost reductions and improvements at the cost if essentially nothing.

Id change the powersupply  but you allready bought that. Id also consider looking at the 11400 or 10600k instead.

650w is allready plenty for a 3070.

If nothing else, hard drives are cheap and easy to add later if you need more storage. For a gaming build I wouldn't prioritize storage over components.

Mainly just some extra PCIe 4.0 connectivity. With your build, you would not even be fully utilizing the PCIe 4.0 capability of B550, let alone X570.

Some chipset connectivity that you probably wont use.
