Budget (including currency): 250$ (willing to do 270$ overbudget)

Country: Indonesia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Typing keyboard (solely for MS Word and other communication apps)

Other details:

1. I prefer the type feeling of a Kailh Blue, so tactile at around 50-55g actuation force.

2. I want hot swappable if possible, but if its not possible im fine with it as i can commit to hand soldering.

3. Wireless or Type A-to-C is preferrable
4. No deck flexes or atleast easily fixable.

5. Black-Grey-Green color scheme.

6. 60%, with dedicated Home, End and Page Buttons. Prtsc button is also nice.

So far my shopping list looks about to be the GK68X with white plastic casing, generic PBT keycaps, and Cherry MX Blue or Glorious Holy Panda. Thats pretty much gonna put me at the 300$+ which i dont like.

Sounds like you're looking for a 65% keyboard rather than a 60% with the Home, End and Page buttons.
Cheapest alternatives if you're prepared to to solder are probably the Discipline 65% and the Nibble 65%. The Drop Alt can also be found with switches and keycaps for under $200 but shipping and taxes might ruin that one.
For switches you could look at the Gazzew Boba U4 or the U4T https://www.theremingoat.com/blog/boba-u4-switch-review , cheap keycaps are seldom worth it.

Oh hell yes. One of my friend ordered a drop for a 6xx and the shipping and tax literally make it double the price of it.

And also, both of the 65% boards you recommend is not available here, and import duty and taxes will pretty much going to tack in 75% value to it. But i do found a U4T for sale here.

...USD$300? Erm, if you wouldn't mind breaking down those costs, we could identify which parts are overpriced and I could suggest alternative vendors...?

  • Generic PBT keycaps are fine, IMO. If you need legends, I'd recommend looking at doubleshot keycaps (two separate pieces of plastic for the legend and the keycap surface). Otherwise, blank PBT keycap sets can be regularly found for under $50 and last a lifetime.
  • Hm... I wouldn't suggest going Cherry MX Blue, especially if that makes up the bulk of your expenses. If you like the feeling of Kailh Blues (clicky), I understand Gateron Blues (clicky) and Gateron Browns (tactile, not clicky) offer a similar tactile feeling and reasonably go for $0.25 per switch.
  • Glorious Holy Panda are tactiles that have been well-received by the community. General consensus is that they're very thocky, have a somewhat rounded bump, but suffer a little from stem wobble.

Other than the iffy price tag, your keeb parts list seems pretty reasonable...? 👀

If you're shopping from Indonesia, MechanicalKeyboards.co.id is an Indonesian vendor for custom keebs and custom keeb parts. I could also recommend KPrepublic; they're based out China, but they offer decently priced items and free worldwide shipping -- just note that shipping tends to take 1-2 months.

Or, if you'd like to do your own searching/browsing, I have a list of vendors for custom keeb parts in my Custom Mechanical Keyboards megathread. CTRL + F, then search for [6.0].

I know it, its pretty much the holy panda being scalped to hell and back here. Thats why i was looking forward to some alternative that people probably know here

Ive been in their Facebook Group and holy hell theyre flex city to hell and back with no help for amateurs (most of the response to amateur is to buy corsair keyboards and call it a day). I personally cant find the keycap i want anyway (nor custom boards, all premade ducky and magicforce), and i just cant bring myself to support that sort of group.

EDIT: I shouldve give breakdown, did i?

Anyway, Its GK68X for around 42$ (not 60, sorry i forgot from the listing), Holy panda at around 100-150$, and combinations of green, black and gray keycaps off kprep totalling at 70$+.

I was, ah, looking for a price breakdown (prices of each individual part), but we could focus on switches if that's the direction you'd like to take this in.

Admittedly, I'm hesitant to give recommendations for MX-stem tactiles (not my cup o' tea), but, eh...

Note: I've only commented on switches I own and have tested.

  • Hako Royal Clear (Tactile, $0.55 per): Very sharp and noticeable tactile bump (compared to other MX-stem tactiles).
  • Halo Clear (Tactile, $0.50 per): Soft, round tactile bump, plenty thocky. Some tactile feedback on the upstroke as well. Suffers a bit from stem wobble.
  • Gazzew U4 Boba (Silent Tactile, $0.65 per)
  • Durock T1 (Tactile, $0.55 - $0.65 per)
  • Kailh BOX Jade, Kailh BOX Navy (Clicky/Tactile, $0.34 per): Very sharp and noticeable tactile bump and incredibly satisfying, incredibly crispy clicks. Jades have lighter spring weights compared to Navys.

From how you lay it out, box jade and navy looks like a heavy budget contender for me, with Jade ticking all boxes.
