Changed ISP service from static to dynamic...Wanting to verify my router settings are correct

steelo

Hi everyone,

I've recently 'downgraded' my ISP from using a static IP to a dynamic. I'm using a TP-Link AX 1800 router. Initially, I set the Router MAC Address to 'default', but had no internet connectivity. I then changed it to 'Clone current'

Does this look correct to you guys? I just want to make sure I'm not going to have problems if the router reboots or something...Thanks!

Okay, for whatever reason when I had a static IP address, I had to set the MAC address to 'Use default'. Now it's on 'Clone Current'

I just wanted to make sure that's not going to cause issues later.

Thank you so much!
