I'm adding another hard drive that I want devoted to games only, but I already have some of my games on my personal drive so am I gonna have to uninstall all of my games, steam, and origin then re install all of them back on the new drive or can I keep the games and just add new games to the new Hard Drive? Will Steam and Origin let me do that or do they have some policy that won't let me do that because piracy or something? before some one says "GET AN SSD!" don't worry my os is on a ssd and I don't need my games on a ssd, load times don't bother me.

add the second drive to your system, then create a folder called Steam 2 drive or whatever you want to call it.

then when you  come to install games, click on the pulldown menu, and select the new steam folder on the second drive, and there you go

You can just move your steam folder over in its entirety and when you tell steam where to install games it will detect the app manifest files. You will have to run first launch setup's on each of your games though.

Okay thanks, um could you (you don't have to if you don't want) do like a step by step thing for both steam and origin, sorry I just get really paranoid and anxious when I do stuff to my computer and i really don't wanna mess up. If you don't want to that's fine I'll figure it out. Hopefully lol Thanks Again.
