Posted April 12, 2021 I am not new to Computers, I just have not worked with a modular PSU second hand. I was given an 5 year old PC that I want to use as a media server, so I am going to plug in 10 SATA drives. Right now off of the existing HHD cable, i have 3 HDD power plugs. I could get a SATA power splitter, but i was also looking to get a modular cable to plug in to my PSU. My PSU is an ANTEC 520w - High Current Gamer. the attached pictue shows my available modular slots. I have free: 1 x 5-pin HDD 3 x 10-pin PCI-E/HDD i have searched Newegg and the web for parts. I find all kinds of customized extension cables, but very little on the actual modular cables for MOLEX 4-pin or SATA power. Especially in a 5-pin or 10-pin PSU plug in.
