My pc isnt running at 90% when playing a game

i have my fps uncapped on both of my games and it still wont run at around 90%

Minecraft will never run at 100%, in fact as you can see it is using a couple threads or so. If you want better fps get optifine. You may also have vysnc on, which is capping it.

As for fortnite, you either have vsync on or are cpu bottlenecked.

Having your gpu not pegged at 99% is usually a good thing, because instead of your fps fluctuating up and down, your gpu usage is fluctuating up and down, which provides more stable frametimes.

if you really want to see your cpu struggling, run prime95

e.g dont do that for long

16gb of ram
i7 7700k
1660 super ventus

and it has no vsync on

i dont have vsync on when playing fortnite 😕 and its not running stable sometimes it drops to 100 fps but its mostly around 220
