I have a 3070 I’m looking to sell and I have an offer.  I can see that the potential buyer has sold about a dozen 20 series cards in the last month or so.  I’m trying to understand why they would have all those cards to sell and what their purpose in buying my card would be.

I know next to nothing about mining, so here are my questions: Is it likely that this person was mining with a bunch of 20 series cards and is now selling them off and looking to upgrade to 30 series cards?  Does a miner make considerably more money with 30 series cards than 20 series cards?

These may seem like weird questions or concerns, but I’m always trying to understand everything from my buyer’s perspective because there so many possible scams out there.

Like yeah, there is an uplift in hashrate. They are more "economical". Your should sell it for 700€(800$). Don't be massive dick if u want money. Or u can mine with that. Daily profit should be around 4~5€. Its good profit and u will have pretty nice card.
