Galax RTX 3070

yas96

Hi guys, just a quick one. I have a contact who is willing to supply me with close to 100 units of the GALAX RTX 3070. He is giving me for a price that is cheaper than what you will find on stock x. Shall i go ahead and buy them? If so where can i sell them quickly. I want to get rid of them all asap.

I'd imagine the quickest way would be to contact LTT and see if they'd take them for VAG

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Enough for me to make a honest profit on based of the current market price for these.

I'm not even going to bother asking how someone has 100 RTX 3070s, but I realistically don't see the price going down anytime soon. Regrettably it's only going up.
VAG is Verified Actual Gamers, an initiative started by LTT that works directly with manufacturers to sell cards and CPUs at MSRP to, well, verified gamers. I'd imagine if you're getting them for above MSRP it's unlikely that they'd be interested since they'd be selling at a loss.

Agreed. There's nothing honest about scalping. I'm sure many folks can make arguments about supply and demand, but fundamentally I think reselling is a scummy business.

Just remember, there's a reason they have 100 of a card that is made of unobtanium currently. Something more than likely isn't quite right with this deal.

My contact does not scalp he has been in the electronics business for over 20 years now he just has very good ways of pulling strings. I too do not agree with scalping. I can assure you this stock was bought in bulk from a reputable wholesaler

I won't rush to conclusions since I don't know much about distribution, but I have a hard time seeing how someone can just 'pull strings' and get 100 virtually unobtainable cards.
