Hello I am fairly new to the pc realm. I understand the basics concepts of the computer however I need a desktop rather than a laptop to run some software.

Budget (including currency):  My budget is $1,500 USD

Country: I am in the US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: My aim for my desktop computer would be to run some 3D work such as Autodesk inventor and Auto CAD Software. I also plan on gaming a little with this set up. The games I would run would be Minecraft and some COD or other FPS if allowable. My main aim is for Autodesk inventor and Minecraft to work.

Other details:

I plan on using two monitors but I have one at home already( idk what type it is). I would like advice for what type of monitor i would need tho to have a good gaming experience if i did play some COD or other FPS. I do not need any peripherals to go with this set up. I also have a windows code that I could use for my operating system. I also do not need a case because I plan on making it into a desk.

Thank you for your time and considerations for my build.

what do you mean "making it into a desk"?

If you mean like in the ltt video, i recomend you not. all of the videos with desk pcs theyve done use high end water cooling hardware, which would lower the preformance class a couple slots.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

I see. I did not think of that! I saw another video other than a LTT video that was built in. Thank you I will need a case then. I did mean like a desk pc tho.

This is along the lines of what I'd recommend. However, You're going to have a hard time getting a 5900x and a 5600x (at least at those prices), and If you're willing to wait long enough for these products, the 6600xt or whatnot might come out, but I'm not going to bet on it. Make sure you know how to get a GPU and CPU (Camp bestbuy, know the schedule, know how to best purchase the products, get the stockdrops discord (or something) or just perpetually have a yt tab open with a bot scanning websites for stock). For the 5600xt this is my recommendation:

MSI AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT MECH OC 6GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Graphics card Black RX 5600 XT MECH OC BV - Best Buy

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

I don't know how exactly you want to implement the desk part, but this is what I would build for the PC itself:

If you decide to build directly into the desk rather than using a case, I'd recommend using that $50 savings to invest in a basic tower cooler as well - the stock cooler on the 3900X is usable, but quite noisy.

Would the p2000 really be worth it? It's a pascal-era gpu, not sure if it would really boost performance?

It's definitely worth it for workstation use. There are some features in professional software that are straight-up not available without a Quadro.

But of how much use would they be? I'm not familiar with workstation cards or software, so I'm not really qualified to give a direct statement. Can you mention something in specific if possible?
