RAM frequency not 3200mhz

Go to solution Solved by WhitetailAni,

You will have to enable DOCP.
Look under Ai Tweaker.

Know that it will be listed as 1800 MHz in some places as it's Double Data Rate, meaning it runs at half what the box says.

So, as the title says, I installed my new Corsair Vengeance Pro today, supposed to be 3200mhz but is only at 1066mhz. My MOBO is a rog strix b550f if that helps, assuming I have to do something in the BIOS.

Yep. Go into bios, find the setting for either XMP or DOCP (two names for basically the same thing). Should be an XMP profile for 3200 listed.

Got it. Thanks!
