HELP want to upgrade my case

I Bought this HP Pavilion Gaming R5 1650 Super, 8GB/256GB Gaming Desktop Tower

  • Operating system: Windows 10 Home
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 5 3500 Processor
  • Memory: 8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM memory (1 x 8 GB)
  • Internal Storage: 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 Solid State Drive
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 SUPER™ graphics card with 4 GB GDDR6 dedicated memory
  • Mouse and keyboard: USB Black Wired keyboard and mouse combo
  • USB ports: 9 (4 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate, 4 USB 2.0 Type-A, 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate)
  • Wireless: Realtek Wi-Fi 5 (1x1) and Bluetooth® 4.2 Combo, MU-MIMO supported
  • Warranty: 1-year limited hardware warranty

 

I want to upgrade my case but i dont know which one it will fit in (Motherboard ect..)

I already upgraded the ram to 16GB Corsair Vengance 3200 Megahertz already.

 

i have no idea what kind of motherboard i can upgrade it to, its a rather Small case and id like to get a bigger one for airflow.

Next thing I would upgrade is ram. 2666 mhz is pretty low for ryzen. Try to get a 8x2 kit of 3200mhz (or ideally 3600mhz) ram.

I did upgrade it sorry it is just towards the end of the post.

Then I would say you are pretty set, unless you have a good reason to change your motherboard, just keep it how it is.

Yeah, you should be just fine. Your CPU is just fine, that'll last a good while if all you're doing is gaming, you upgraded your RAM kit which is great, because a single stick of 8GB is not enough for hardly anything anymore. 

 

Only things I would probably consider upgrading would be the storage (256GB is fine for a boot drive, but will quickly fill up otherwise), you can just get another SATA SSD to put games and stuff on for pretty cheap. Even cheaper would be a mechanical hard drive if you have a ton of stuff.  

 

The 1650 Super is fine for now, but that would probably be my next upgrade after storage.

Once graphics card prices normalize. Just be happy you have even an okay graphics card right now.
