it should run with the same power supply you have right now depending on your processor. otherwise get the corsair cx430

7770's support eyefinity so 3 displays. but a 7770 is only fast enough to play on one monitor you would  have the other two for skype/videos.

A Nvidia 650 ti is maybe 10% faster costs 30% more...so don't recommend buying one

And a c2d is a good match for the 7770

well i have a intel core 2 Duo and are AMD card better than Nvidia?

in the sub 200$ range amd crushes nvidia at every competing card. anyone who says otherwise can't look at things objectively. a 7770ghz edition is had for 109 (the one i listed which has highest stock clock), cheapest 650ti i found was 15 more, and scores worse on pretty much every one of linus's benchmarks. 650ti boost is in the same price range as a 7850 2gb, the 7850 beats it. 660 against 7870, 7870 beats it.

and whenever anyone says amd can't use physx, they're lying. most games just either disable physx (so go into the .ini file, open the notepad file, and change physx to "true" or "on" depending on if the previous text was off or false), or you can't use phyx high settings (some games like hawken have 2 settings for physx you can only choose the high option with nvidia but it isn't THAT different at all).

plus you get free games, right now a 7770 gives you far cry 3 and fc3 bd for free. which is about a 60$ value.

But it also depends on what CPU you are using. He is using a pretty old CPU, so performance will be very bad if you run Physx on the CPU.

But yeah that is true, with the newer CPUs, Nvidia Physx is just a gimmick.

CPU: AMD 3950x Mobo: MSI B550 RAM: 32GB DDR4 GPU: Asus 3080 Strix PSU: Superflower Leadex 3 720w Case: BeQuiet 500DX

Storage: 2TB SSD + 4TB HDD Audio: SMSL 793ii -> HiFiman HE-400 + Mission MS-50 Speakers

didn't see the core2duo part.

op: if you have a computer that old then save up and build a new one for a christmas present to yourself. that things like 4 generations old.
