Soooooo, we all know Naval Strike for Pc is being delayed so I thought I would contact EA support to see if we can get an update on when it may be coming out, if it ever does as I have paid for premium and the product has not been delivered, therefore making premium redundant. On the EA help website it states that it shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes to connect me to an actual person, which isn't true because it's just going to be a bot.

After about half an hour of waiting I decide to find out exactly how long I have had to wait for this service to connect me to a bot.

As you can see it has been 6 times longer than how long they said it would take, and that's only been since I started the stop watch. If EA really want to improve their reputation, this is where they should start.

Your premium membership only says that you get the content on release, not a specific date.

 

I don't care about it being delayed, if they have to delay it to make sure it works properly then I am all for it.

 

I fail to see how it makes premium redundant, you still get the content free when it comes out + all other premium perks

Well if they release it early for premium members anyway and it is being delayed of course it is being delayed for non premium too

 

What is wrong with it being delayed? Surely you can wait a few weeks and have it come out fixed and working, and not come out early but broken - It would be worse for PR if it came out broken vs a small delay

I'm pretty sure that they're actually people, not bots. Also, 30 mins is nothing compared to the 5 working days it takes for Steam to do anything. Just do something else while you wait. I have never had a bad experience with their customer support, granted I've only used it twice before, but both times they've solved the problem very quickly.

The four times I have contacted them it took about 10 min. Steam is probably the worst offender on slow support.

Speaking of EA.

 

Anyone got a fix for this?

 

I've already tried the registry fix (create key in /Battelfield 4, DLC + Xpack1 > Installed = True, etc.) and I've reinstalled both Battlefield 4 (core) and each of the individual expansions. Suddenly decided to not work after reinstalling Windows. It actually worked at first. I don't even. Getting real tired of your shit, DICE.

 

It's not like you can contact them to try and fix your problem. been here for 5 hours now after a restart...

It may take a while but they'll do something about your problem.

 

Meanwhile, ive have been contacting Rockstar for 5 months to fix a problem with GTA online. All ive gotten is "Yeah, we know about your problem. Nah, we still cant fix it. To get your car back spend more money on our game."

TBH, EA support has been pretty awesome for me.  Apart from the time when everyone wanted titanfall beta and I had a problem with origin, they were pretty close to 5 mins
